Founded in 1846 by John Dewar, John Dewar & Sons Ltd has grown from a small wine and spirits merchant shop in Perth, Scotland, to become a global brand.
With the Dewar’s 12 year old, Dewar’s pioneered marrying in oak casks whereby the blend is put back into specially selected oak casks for up to 6 months to develop greater smoothness and a longer, lingering finish.
Flavour notes would include honey, home-made toffee apples and fudge. Warm, buttery and mellow, it will have the tastes of juicy sultanas and fresh citrus, together with with subtle vanilla.Clean, full and lively, this is Dewar’s 12 year old.
