This Japanese blend combines multiple types of malt and grain whisky that Nikka reserves and marries them in used casks for between 3 and 6 months to allow the elements to stabilise and harmonise.
Bottled at 51.4% ABV, this is a rich and strong blend that delivers flavour by the barrel.
Notable tastes are full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla and a good mouthful of fruit.
